2 Door Bi-Fold Doors

Dimensions: Minimum = 1558mm - Maximum = 2149mm

Our two door bi-fold is offered in multiple colour options, and a range of glazing options including self-clean, tinted and laminated. There are a choice of handle styles and hinge colours to match your final choice. We also offer the latest aluminium WarmCore range to offer you the most thermally efficient bi-fold doors on the market.

3 Door Bi-Fold Doors

Dimensions: Minimum = 1868mm - Maximum = 3125mm

Our three door bi-fold is offered in multiple colour options, and a range of glazing options including self-clean, tinted and laminated. We also offer the latest aluminium WarmCore range to offer you the most thermally efficient bi-fold doors on the market.

What are the sizes of Patio & French Doors?

Celsius Home Improvements offer a range of Patio & French doors to suit any home.

French Door Sizes

French Doors - are made to measure and manufactured in our purpose built factory in Knowsley, Merseyside. The Celsius Team would visit your home and discuss the options available based on the size of space available in your home.

French doors can be fitted to wider areas than the width's shown below. The width's shown are the width's of the doors. For larger width's frames and Glass panels can be used to fill in the areas that are available either side of the "French Doors". To give you an idea on the sizes of doors that can be used please see the table below:

Patio Door Sizes

Patio Doors - are made to measure and manufactured in our purpose built factory in Knowsley, Merseyside. The Celsius Team would visit your home and discuss the options available based on the size of space available in your home.

Patio Doors come in a range of options:

  • 2 Pane - consists of one sliding panel (pane) and one static panel
  • 3 Pane (option one) - can consist of two sliding panel (panes) on the left and right with a static pane in the centre or alternativeley:
  • 3 Pane (option two) - can consist of one sliding panel (pane) in the centre and two static panes to the left and right
  • 4 Pane - can consist of one sliding panel and one static panel on the left with one sliding panel and one static panel on the right.

    • To give you an idea on the width's that we can work with for Patio doors see the table below:
    The minimum height = 1800mm and the maximum height = 2500mm.

    How are the doors constructed and what are the materials used?

    Here we'll explain how our doors are constructed and what they are made of

    UPVc Doors

    UPVc doors - are manufactured in our factory and made from Unplasticised Poly Vinyl Chloride (UPVc) a strong and durable material used in the manufacture of several products including doors, windows and facias. Additives are added to the Poly Vinyl Chloried (PVC) to make it suitable for the production of windows and doors. These additives are necessary to provide longevity, high weather and UV resistance.

    UPVc is used to make the profiles and components of the door system. Our UPVc doors are designed to be lightweight but robust, thermally efficient, extremely secure and require very little maintenance to ensure that it will hold its high performance and attractive finish for years to come.

    Our door systems also meet the requirements of Secured by Design, the official UK Police initiative for crime prevention through secure design and engineering, so you can feel confident that you are investing in the safest and most secure door products available
    The main benefits of using UPVc are as follows

  • Does not rot or biologically decompose.
  • It is resistant to weathering with low maintenance requirements.
  • Is tough on impact.
  • It retains its shape within normal climatic temperatures.
  • It can be reshaped at very high temperature and can therefore be recycled

    • Composite Doors

    Composite Doors - are manufactured in our factory and are made from a variety of materials. They have a high-density foam core which provides the main insulation of the door and is surrounded by a water-resistant composite material. The skin of the door is made of an impact resistant fiberglass (Thermoset GRP- glass reinforced polyester) and is compression moulded to offer detailed panel definition and lifelike wood grain effect which will not expand, contract, bow, warp or twist.

    Colours can be chosen using the RAL colour palette which has more than 200 colour variations on offer giving you an endless amount of choice for your new doors.

    The material and production method gives the flexibility to offer a wide range of styles for the doors from traditional 4 and 6 "panel" doors to more modern, contemporary styles. Various glazing options are also available to give you a vast array of options for the perfect entrance to your home.

    Our composite doors also meet the requirements of Secured by Design, the official UK Police initiative for crime prevention through secured by design engineering. You can be confident that the doors are the most safe and secure available on the market.

    The main benefits of composite doors are that they are extremely strong, weather resistant, highly secure and they will not rot, rust, warp or bend.

    Bi-fold Doors

    Bi-Fold doors - are manufactured in our factory and made from Aluminium. Aluminium is strong, light, stable and will not rot, warp or rust. Aluminium is very durable, therefore making it an ideal material to choose when manufacturing bi-fold doors.

    Aluminium is a long-lasting, cost-effective choice with very low maintenance, no rotting or warping and is B-rated for energy efficiency. Aluminium is also a sustainable resource - 100% can be recycled after its use

    Our bi-fold doors can also be manufactured using the WarmCore - Warm Aluminium product. This has been manufactured from the ground up to be the most thermally efficient aluminium product on the market. WarmCore aluminium contains an inner-core which is designed to be up to 25% more thermally efficient than traditional aluminium products.

    Patio & French Doors

    Patio & French Doors - are manufactured in our factory and are can be made from either UPVc or Aluminium. Please see the UPVC and Bi-Fold door section for more details on these materials

    Security is important - all our doors have the latest security features as standard. These include the following:

  • Multi-point locking - the amount of locking-poingts vary depending on the door type buy all doors include this feature
  • The latest Yale “anti bump” cylinder is fitted on our doors
  • Cylinder guard fitted.
  • All doors are PAS 24 as standard
