What style of windows can I choose from?

Celsius Home Improvements offer a range of window styles to choose from. The choices are as follows:

Casement Windows

Casement Windows - these are our most popular window and are secure, energy efficient and attractive. These units come in a variety of colours including traditional white, antique oak and the ever-popular anthracite grey - Casement Windows can be manufactured using either UPVc or Aluminium - We can also offer Casement windows with A+ rated double or triple glazed units giving you the optimum energy efficiency available - Casement windows open outwards (away from the home) in either of two ways; either a hinge at the top with the window opening out or the hinges at the side allowing you to open the window in a similar manner to a door.

Sash Windows

Sash Windows - These units are very attractive and open by sliding one part of the window either upwards or downwards. Sash Windows can be manufactured in a variety of colours to suit your home. The windows are made using UPVc and are only available as double glazed units

Tilt-and-Turn Windows

Tilt and Turn Windows - another popular window choice is our Tilt-and-Turn windows. Tilt-and-Turn windows offer two ways of opening the unit, they can have a hinge at either the bottom or top to "Tilt" the windows inwards AND they also have a hinge on either the left or right side to allow the window to be opened fully inwards like a door. Another difference between Casement windows and Tilt-and-Turn is that the windows open in the opposite direction (casement - outwards and tilt-and-turn inwards) - Tilt-and-Turn windows are available in a range of colurs and can be fitted with either double or triple glazed units. The windows are available in either UPVc or Aluminium.

Bay Windows

Bay Windows - These windows are made to the exact specification of the bay area of your home, making sure they are a perfect fit. Bay windows can be manufactured using either UPVc or Aluminium. The windows can be provided with double or triple glazed units making sure your home is energy efficient. There's a range of colours available too, in UPVc there are 18 colour styles available but with Aluminium there's more than 200 colours to choose from. What range of materials can I choose from?

Celsius Home Improvements can manufacture and install windows in either Aluminium or UPVc.

Aluminium Windows

Aluminium windows - are energy-efficient, stylish and warm and give a contemporary look to any style of property. We manufacture each window in our purpose built showroom in your choice of colour and finishing details. There's more than 200 colours to choose from and you can have different colours on the outside and inside giving you the perfect choice to match your style and home.

UPVc Windows

UPVc Windows - are low-maintenance and won't fade or rot. Available in a range of styles such as casement, tilt-and-turn and sash windows and 18 colour options. Every window is individually made in our purpose built factory in Knowsley, Liverpool and made to measure for a perfect fit, giving you the ultimate in looks, warmth, security and easy maintenance. All our windows are installed by our skilled fitting teams.

Celsius Home Improvements have 18 UPVc colours and over 200 Aluminium colours to choose from.

Aluminium Colour Range

More than 200 to choose from

Aluminium Colours - Aluminium windows can be colour coated from a palette of over 200 options. The RAL colour chart is available on request and can be used to create the colour of windows that suit you. You can also choose a different colour on the outside and inside should you wish.

UPVc Colour Range

18 Colours to choose from

UPVc Windows - these windows have a colour palette with 18 different options including traditional white, wood effects such as Oak and Cherry Wood and the popular anthracite grey. They can also have a different colour on the outside and inside.

How energy efficient are the windows?

Our latest high performance windows won't just keep you warm, they'll cut your fuel bills and carbon footprint too!

Ratings Explained

A number of factors influence the energy efficiency of the window. These include the profile system and the specification of a sealed unit.

Windows are rated from A+ (no heat loss at all) through to G, the window Energy Rating label allows you to see at a glance how energy efficient a window is.

If you're in any doubt about the best options for you home speak to Celsius Home Improvements or alternatively contact the Energy Savings Trust, who offer independent advice about energy efficient products. You can visit their website at: www.energysavingstrust.org.uk

Reducing your bills and Carbon Footprint

According to independent figures you can reduce heat loss from your home buy up to 50% simply by replacing your old single or double glazed units with the latest A+ rated windows.

At the same time, according to the British Fenestration Ratings Council, you could reduce your energy consumption by 18%.

Remember though, that not all replacement windows are the same, it's important to choose the best product and there are certain things you should consider before you buy.
